2018 Federal Budget: Canadian Edition


The Liberal Government's budget was released on February 27, 2018 by Federal Minister of Finance Bill Morneau. The new budget's tax measures are aimed at tightening loopholes or inequalities in various aspects of the Canadian tax system. Several measures were introduced in relation to Canada's international taxation rules. These rules aim to broaden and protect Canada's tax base and reinforce Canada's commitments to address global tax evasion.
